The OBX Way identifies, documents, and promotes public trails to hike, bike, or kayak along the NC Outer Banks.

Jockey's Trail is a 50-mile hiking route that starts at Jockey's Ridge State Park and travels north to the VA border.

Year of The Trail

2023 is the 50th anniversary of the NC Trail Systems Act, which inspired the development of 2,000+ trails.
